SOCCER is vastly popular around the world and Haiti is no different. Everywhere you go, you will find makeshift soccer goals and children of all ages playing! When we met Wadson, a soccer fanatic who has a heart for coaching and a desire to lead a team, we saw a great opportunity to build relationships as well as community.

Coach Wadson teaches our soccer club about the importance of teamwork rather than being a superstar. He also worked with Mickenson to create a leadership group of team members. In this group, the players learn responsibility and leadership skills  as well

participate in making plans and decisions for the team. The trickle-down effect has been amazing! Our soccer team works so well together on the field that they are beating teams that are older and stronger, simply because they’ve learned the importance of teamwork.
